The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is operated year-round by public or private non-profit organizations or Title XX for profit organizations. This program provides non-residential child care services in Even Start and Head Start centers, child care centers, day care homes, and adult day care centers. The children and adults can receive three meal types each day: breakfast, lunch, supper, or snack (of which one must be a snack).
