JACKSON, Miss – Local officials will meet on March 21 to discuss details related to the consolidation of the Montgomery County and Winona school districts (as ordered by SB 2495) and on March 24 to discuss details for the consolidation of the Lumberton, Lamar County and Poplarville school districts (as ordered by SB 2500).
Montgomery-Winona Consolidation Meetings
Tuesday, March 21
- 1 p.m. – Montgomery County School District school board members will meet at the Montgomery County School District Central Office, 618 Summit St., Winona
- 4 p.m. – Montgomery County elected officials will meet at the Winona School District Central Office, 218 Fairground St., Winona
- 6 p.m. – Winona School District school board members will meet at the Winona School District Central Office, 218 Fairground St., Winona
Lumberton, Lamar County and Poplarville Consolidation Meeting
Friday, March 24
- 1 p.m. – William Carey University, Smith Hall, Room 118, 710 William Carey Parkway, Hattiesburg
