3rd Grade Parent Reports to be Released Early Next Week

May 8, 2015

JACKSON, Miss. – Parents of 3rd graders who did not receive their child’s individual score report Friday for the 3rd Grade Reading Summative Assessment should expect to receive it early next week.

Some districts will distribute their reports next week because Renaissance Learning, Inc., the company that administered the test, was unable to provide online access to some districts to print their reports on Friday.

Renaissance Learning is investigating the reporting issues that occurred on Friday. Some schools were able to produce reports Friday; however, due to the large volume of traffic on Renaissance Learning’s reporting site, some schools were not able to access their reports.

The Mississippi Department of Education will continue to update districts on the status of reports from Renaissance Learning as information becomes available.

School- and district-level passing rates for the 3rd Grade Reading Summative Assessment can be found here.
