The Office of Academic Education is responsible for the development of content standards and educator resources, as well as the delivery of professional development to teachers across Mississippi. All services and activities are designed to support the implementation of the State Board of Education Strategic Plan.
The Office of Academic Education consists of the following program offices and the three state schools:
