JACKSON, Miss. – The Mississippi Board of Education (MBE) has appointed Anthony Montgomery, a senior vice president at Hancock Bank in Gulfport, to fill an unexpired term on the Commission on School Accreditation. He will complete the 2009-2013 term, replacing Kevin Eubank, who resigned.
A graduate of the University of Mississippi, Montgomery completed graduate studies at Ole Miss and Louisiana State University. He currently is the training specialist for credit risk management and consumer lending.
The Commission on School Accreditation continually reviews and enforces the accreditation standards and makes recommendations to the MBE.
