Comprehensive System of Personnel Development (CSPD)

CSPD is a best-practices framework to improve the overall quality of the Early Childhood (EC) workforce serving infants, toddlers and young children with disabilities and addresses EC workforce challenges, including shortages, graduate and post-graduate training needs, and alignment of state and national competencies and standards.

The CSPD coordinator works in collaboration with the First Steps Early Intervention Program to promote a highly qualified Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education workforce. For more information on CSPD, contact Monica Wimberley at mwimberley@mdek12.org

For updates and training opportunities related to infants and toddlers with developmental delays, subscribe to our CSPD email list.
