The unexpected need for distance learning provided our state with an opportunity to reimagine the digital learning experience and expand channels for student learning. The following data regarding devices were collected via the anonymous Technology & Learning survey issued to administrators, teachers, and 3rd-12th grade students during the 2021-22SY. Note: 100% participation from all groups was not achieved in this survey.
90% of teachers reported a ratio of one to one students to computers in the classroom, with 3% reporting no computers were available for students in the classroom.
99% of teachers reported access to a desktop, laptop, or computer at home. 89% of teachers reported they are allowed to take home a school-owned device, with 80% reporting they can take the device home every night.
92% of students reported access to a desktop, laptop, or computer at home. 64% of students reported they are allowed to take home a school-owned device, with 55% reporting they can take the device home every night.

53% of teachers report that the quality of internet speed available at school is excellent or above average.
93% of teachers report access to the internet at home. Of the wireless network connectivity available at home, 88% of teachers report their wireless access is provided by a wireless router and 10% by a cellular network.
