Requirements. To qualify for the Driver Education Teacher License- an applicant shall meet one of the following options:

Option Two Career and Technical Educator Guidelines:
Minimum Requirements for Driver Education Alternate Route Pathway to 114 Endorsement
(Exception: Those teachers that currently hold a valid five-year license are not required to meet the occupational experience criterion.)
OR –
Certified Law Enforcement Certificate issued by the Mississippi Board of Law Enforcement Standards and Training OR Professional Mississippi Fire Fighter Certificate issued by the Mississippi Board of Standards and Training/Mississippi Fire Academy with 1001 certification
