National Board Certification – Master Teacher Program

The Mississippi Legislature provides funding for the National Board Certification Program as authorized by MS Code §37-19-7.  The annual supplement is paid to five certification areas including:

• NBPTS – National Board for Professional Teaching Standards
• CCC – Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by the American Speech & Hearing Association
• NCSC – National Certified School Counselor issued by the National Counselor’s Association
• NCSN – National Certified School Nurse
• CALT – Certified Academic Language Therapist
• CAT – Certified Athletic Trainer

Candidates may also receive reimbursement for the costs of the certification testing process, consistent with the MS Code and the MDE.  For more information, please choose from the following links:
