Preserving the integrity of the Mississippi Department of Education brand is vital to maintaining a strong reputation and identity for our organization. MDE brand guidelines and best practices ensure the agency is represented consistently. If you have any questions or special requests, please email Jean Cook in the Office of Communication and Government Relations.
Effective April 2022, all new documents with colored font(s) or background shading that will be posted on the MDE website must use one or more of the brand colors listed on p. 13 of the MDE Brand Guidelines document. These colors meet web accessibility standards for people with visual impairments, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
The Mississippi Department of Education’s logo is one of the most important aspects of our identity. Consistent logo use helps protect the integrity of the MDE brand, so whenever using a logo, it is important to follow all branding and logo use guidelines.
