Advance CTE: Career Cluster Resources: Free fillable, printable, and online cluster-by-cluster surveys, motivator survey. The surveys are based on the National Career Clusters®Framework, which provides a structured, intentional tool for learners to discover the full world of work, how careers and skills connect across disciplines, and what paths best connect to their interests and strengths. Get2College: Educators can use Get2College to strengthen college and career readiness instruction by integrating its free tools and services into classroom lessons, advising, and family engagement. Resources such as ACT preparation, career planning supports, financial aid guidance, scholarship searches, and postsecondary planning tools can be used to help students make informed decisions about life after high school. Educators may also leverage the College Comparison Tool, timelines, calculators, resume supports, and Mississippi career exploration resources to support individualized student planning. In addition, Get2College’s professional development opportunities, CCR supports, and middle school and underclassman lesson plans can enhance instructional practice and ensure alignment with state college and career readiness goals.
Junior Achievement: Junior Achievement (JA) provides standards-aligned lessons in financial literacy, work and career readiness, and entrepreneurship to support student success. These resources are designed for classroom and schoolwide use and are delivered in partnership with trained volunteers and local JA education partners. Educators can use JA programming to enhance instruction, connect learning to real-world applications, and strengthen college and career readiness. MS Pathfinder: MS Pathfinder provides support to students in exploring Mississippi’s high-priority careers by providing access to job profiles, training pathways, and career coaching across key industry ecosystems. MS Pathfinder helps students discover careers aligned to their interests, understand required education and training options, and identify well-paying opportunities in fields such as advanced manufacturing, energy, healthcare, logistics, and information technology—whether or not a four-year degree is required.
My Way Mississippi: Educators can use My Way Mississippi to support students with secondary and postsecondary planning by guiding career exploration, career pathway selection, and college and degree research. The platform can be integrated into advising sessions, classroom lessons, and career readiness activities to help students understand education and training options, explore financial aid, and make informed decisions about their future. Educators may also use My Way Mississippi to connect students and families to adult education opportunities, MiBEST, employability services, transportation-to-work resources, and registered apprenticeship programs, supporting smooth transitions from school to college, training, or the workforce.
