  1. Approval to contract with Christopher J. Vecchione, Ed.D. to provide consultative services relative to training and technical assistance to schools and/or districts to comply with Senate Bill 2658 (Office of School Improvement, Oversight and Recovery)
  2. Approval to award competitive grants for the Mississippi Community Oriented Policing Services in Schools (MCOPS) grant program (Office of School Improvement, Oversight and Recovery)
  3. Approval to submit an additional waiver to the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Flexibility Request for double testing flexibility for the Mississippi Alternate Assessment of Extended Curriculum Frameworks (MAAECF) (Office of Instructional Enhancement and Internal Operations) 
  4. Approval of the Student Assessment Handbook (Has cleared the Administrative Procedures Act process with public comments) (Office of Instructional Enhancement and Internal Operations) 
  5. Approval to contract with Cambium Education, Inc. dba Sopris Learning for the operation of the Mississippi K-3 Literacy Professional Development Training System (Office of Instructional Enhancement and Internal Operations)
  6. Approval to begin the Administrative Procedures Act process:  To establish the 2013 Standards for the Gifted Education Programs (Office of Instructional Enhancement and Internal Operations)
  7. Approval of proposal from Mississippi College to recognize two Class AAA Licenses as recommended by the Commission on Teacher and Administrator Education, Certification and Licensure and Development (Office of Quality Professionals and Special Schools)
    1. Recognize the Juris Doctorate Degree as a Class AAA License as recommended by the Commission on Teacher and Administrator Education, Certification and Licensure and Development
    2. Recognize the Master of Fine Arts Degree as a Class AAA License as recommended by the Commission on Teacher and Administrator Education, Certification and Licensure and Development
  8. Approval of proposal from Mississippi Valley State University to modify its Supplemental Endorsement Program in Mathematics as recommended by the Commission on Teacher and Administrator Education, Certification and Licensure and Development (Office of Quality Professionals and Special Schools) 
  9. Approval of proposal from the University of Mississippi to modify its Supplemental Endorsement Program in Secondary Mathematics as recommended by the Commission on Teacher and Administrator Education, Certification and Licensure and Development (Office of Quality Professionals and Special Schools)
  10. Approval of proposal from William Carey University to modify its Master of Arts in Teaching Program to include a Special Education Track as recommended by the Commission on Teacher and Administrator Education, Certification and Licensure and Development (Office of Quality Professionals and Special Schools) 
  11. Approval to begin the Administrative Procedures Act process:  To approve a request from the Office of Career and Technical Education for new license codes as recommended by the Commission on Teacher and Administrator Education, Certification and Licensure and Development (Office of Quality Professionals and Special Schools)
  12. Approval to begin the Administrative Procedures Act process:  To approve a request from the Office of Curriculum and Instruction for new license codes as recommended by the Commission on Teacher and Administrator Education, Certification and Licensure and Development (Office of Quality Professionals and Special Schools) 
  13. Approval to begin the Administrative Procedures Act process:  To rename and establish State Board Policy 5300 from MS Student Information Systems to Management Information Systems (Office of Educational Accountability) 
  14. Approval to contract with DLT Solutions, LLC to provide services to upgrade Oracle forms and reports (Office of Educational Accountability) 
  15. Approval to begin the Administrative Procedures Act process:  To establish State Board Policy 3804 - Additional Assessment Options for Graduation (Office of Educational Accountability)
  16. Approval of an Accredited Status for Brentwood-Crossroads School (Office of Educational Accountability) 
  17. Approval to begin the Administrative Procedures Act process:  To establish State Board Policy 6902 – Required Monthly Reports to be Furnished to Local School Board (Office of Educational Accountability)
