Artificial Intelligence: Guidance for K-12 Classrooms
This resource is designed to provide procedural guidance and instructional strategies to district leaders, school leaders, and classroom teachers on how to appropriately use artificial intelligence (AI) in schools. The guide starts with a definition of AI and explores its impact on the classroom. It also highlights how students, teachers, and administrators can leverage AI, and what factors should be taken into consideration when developing a policy for AI use.

Webinar: The MDE will host a webinar on April 17, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. During this webinar, Chris Chism, Superintendent of Pearl School District, will join us as a special guest to share some exciting ways he is already harnessing the power of AI to support productivity. District leaders, technology staff, school leaders, and teachers are invited to register for this event. If you can't attend live, a recording of the webinar will be shared on this webpage.
