Revised Foundation agreement deadline December 31, 2017

The December 31 deadline for membership in the Mississippi FBLA-PBL Foundation is fast approaching.  Thanks to those of you who have already sent in your chapter’s membership.

Remember:  In order for your chapter members to receive Foundation NLC disbursements and to be eligible for the Rufus T. Jones Scholarship, a bronze membership ($50 contribution) must come directly from your chapter and an additional bronze membership must be secured.

Note:  If a business makes a $100 contribution with your chapter as the sponsor, this does not satisfy the bronze membership requirement for your chapter—the chapter must also become at least a bronze member ($50 contribution) to be eligible for Foundation disbursements.

Your chapter can also become a silver member ($100 contribution) to fulfill the membership requirement.  If your chapter is a lifetime Foundation member, you must secure a bronze membership ($50 contribution) in order to receive foundation disbursements.

In order for your chapter to receive credit for contributions, it is essential that the contribution is accompanied by a Foundation Agreement.  Patti Fanning at BankPlus tells me that numerous contributions have been received without the agreement.

As you know from previous emails, BankPlus Wealth Management has moved to a new location. Please send your contributions to the new address in the revised Foundation agreement:

Mississippi FBLA-PBL Foundation
BankPlus Wealth Management Group
Attention:  Patti Fanning
1200 Eastover Drive, Suite 300
Jackson, MS 39211

Attached is a revised Foundation Agreement for your convenience.

As always, feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you for all you do to help elevate the futures of tomorrow's business leaders!
